How will Sterimar Kids nasal spray help a blocked nose?

Sterimar Kids nasal spray uses natural sea water enriched with copper and magnesium salts to ease congestion in the nose. The solution has a higher salt concentration than the cells in the body, so when it's sprayed into the nose it draws out excess fluid and mucus, helping to clear the congestion gently and provide relief from the feeling of a blocked nose. It also helps to wash out the nasal cavities, helping to reduce the risk of secondary infection in the nose.

The gentle micro-diffusion spray pressure and specific nozzle have been designed for children's sensitive noses

On first use, prime the spray by briefly pressing the nozzle. Use 2 to 6 times a day until the nose is no longer blocked. For babies, from 3 months to 2 years, lay the child on their side or sitting up with baby’s head to one side. For 2 years and over keep their head upright. Gently insert the nozzle into the nostril. Press the nozzle for approximately 2 seconds. Let any excess solution run out of before wiping the nose. Repeat in the other nostril. Clean the nozzle after use with hot soapy water, then rinse and dry with a clean and soft cloth. Intended for temporary use in the event of a blocked nose, until the nose is no longer blocked or as long as the doctor recommends. Suitable for use prior to sleep and before (breast) feeding.

Pressurised container: May burst if heated. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Do not pierce or burn even after use. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C/122°F. Keep out of the reach of children.
